It took
a lot of time to research in books, photos and looking at original and
untouched TR6s' for the positioning of decals, badges,
paint etc. etc. for correctness, on A TR6 0K these are a few photos and
possibly some useful information.
Overdrive
and Horn Relay wiring
|
On
very early TR6s the water hoses were yellow and black striped
[tigers tail] Triumph changed the colour to Lichfield Green.
|

The rear valence should be
painted in near matt black (why

mine is shiny, is too much polishing! Note the black paint does
not go all the way to the top edge of the boot lid or
wing.

The light switch is the
original.
Note
the position of the end of rubber windscreen to glass seal. |

pedal assy. This was only fitted to LHD pi models. (The bracket
on the left was bent over at time of photo, now straight. |

Lower plate stamped with
body
number fitted before shell was painted.
The upper on is the body in white number which would have been
painted in body colour.

Originally
the battery was a Lucas Pacemaker the difference
being between the battery posts would have been fluted not solid
as this one is.

correct vehicle
ID or commission plate fitted on the LH wheel arch in
pounds, not kilos. From 1973 models this was put on LH "B"
post. |
